| Anne's ideas- lots! |
David Chu's
ideas! |
We have been holding a very
informal series of 'group classes' in students private homes, (with a bit of
supper and a few drinks along the way!!) This is an easy way to get
used to singing in front of other people. There is no 'audience' as such. Everybody who
comes, sings something! Even me! It can be 'Happy birthday' or just one verse of
something.
|
THE ONLY RULE:
No listeners only EVERYBODY WHO COMES, SINGS! This makes for a very supportive and safe atmosphere. These
are not big 'performances' but for 'works in progress'. Sometimes I will even work with a
student on something as part of the event on the night, IF they want to.. (like a 'Master class')
It's just a chance to sing with a very supportive small audience. It's very
safe!
The
themes are not compulsory, just suggestions. you can sing anything you like at any of
these events.
Whatever makes you most comfortable is the idea! Sing ANYTHING!!!! |
PLEASE NOTE: You dont have to be studying with me at the moment, to attend
these. -- (A quick call to me and perhaps a short session to arrange music
and words etc may be all thats needed for you to attend) A good way to just to
keep your hand in
|
Lots of interesting ideas from the lovely Anne
